Archaeological Field Technician

The Archeological Field Technician, based out of Houston, TX, will assist the Cultural Resources Specialist in conducting cultural resources investigations and excavations on field projects throughout the region. The Archeological Field Technician will assist with tasks involving cultural resources projects, such as manually excavating shovel test units, drawing field maps, using Munsell soil charts, and a variety of other tasks deemed necessary by the Cultural Resources Specialist. The Archeological Field Technician will be a champion and leader of our company’s core values while maintaining internal and external customer engagement and satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in Anthropology, Archeology, or related field
• Minimum six (6) months of directly related industry experience
• Previous fieldwork experience in TX or LA - preferred
