OPEN POSITIONS: PART TIME (LESS THAN 28 HRS/WEEK)
ASSISTANT SWIM COACH (1) - $17.42/hour
Available Shifts:

- 4.5 hours weekly additional 5 - 6 hours monthly for Swim Meets
LIFEGUARD – $16.43/hour
Available Shifts:

- Monday - Friday Morning & Evenings
- Saturday - Sunday All shifts available
SWIM INSTRUCTOR – $16.43/hour
Available Shifts:
-
- Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Saturday - Sunday 8:00am - 12:00pm OR 9:00am - 1:00pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (ALL POSITIONS):
- Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors)
- Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness
- LIFEGUARDS: Must have a valid lifeguard certification (within 30 days of hire) and demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards
- Be able to pass the CDYMCA swim test, as administered by the Aquatic Director or designated individual
- Basic computer skills, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
- Basic life support or professional rescuer CPR/AED, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
