This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. • Engaging child and encouraging appropriate behaviors.
• 1:1 safety supervision-line of sight at all times
• Assist with regulation techniques during heightened behaviors
• Ability to set firm boundaries that are beneficial to the child to assist with managing behaviors
• Provide Safety and companionship
• Assist with daily living tasks: changing, bathing, transfer to and from wheelchair, meal prep, feeding, and basic household chores
• Provide emotional and behavioral support

• Experience managing frequently erratic behaviors that can be aggressive.
• Prior experience with special needs required
• Experience with Autism spectrum, behavioral disorders, and Angelman’s syndrome required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
• Must be comfortable with pets in home. -Family has multiple small dogs in home.
• Pass background check before hire.

• If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
