Windows Engineer
Onsite - Roanoke, IN
6 month contract with the potential to become FTE.

CDW is seeking a Windows Engineer to support and maintain enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, security, and performance while supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows-based infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, and cloud)
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime
• Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and group policies
• Perform system patching, upgrades, and software installations
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
• Support deployment of infrastructure and enterprise applications
• Maintain documentation for systems and processes
• Ensure compliance with standards (SOX, PCI, etc.)
• Participate in on-call support as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of Windows server administration experience
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
• Experience with virtualization, networking, and cloud platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Cloud or infrastructure certifications (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Experience with security and compliance frameworks
