Your Impact:
- Assist Director, Production Management with the execution of the client’s direct marketing campaigns, following all production-related aspects of the job from receipt of initial concept through invoicing.
- Gain a clear understanding of the Campaign Program Plan and build out all package details in Edge Direct’s production database (SPOT), requesting new or revised toolboxes as needed.
- Coordinate with production facilities and letter shops to prepare and manage comprehensive job schedules AND keep SPOT always updated.
- Effectively communicate to the client team all due dates based on production and supplier schedules, and work with the team when things get off track to get the campaign back on schedule.
- Communicate all changes that could potentially impact overall package performance to the Director and revise package components with the Director’s approved revisions, via Prepress.
- Initiate “art purchase” process once program creative is finalized.
- Collaborate with the Director, Production Management, and Pre-Press teams to prepare accurate component mock-ups based on the Program Plan and secure client approval for timely job release per production schedule.
- Double-check all components against the final Program Plan/Concept Memo before releasing components for production to ensure accuracy of specs, quantities, etc.
- Understand campaign schedule requirements and know when to escalate issues to appropriate internal personnel to keep the campaign on schedule.
- When data is delivered to Edge, send Imaging Dummies to the Data Team and confirm presort specs, post office, and mark the mail grid complete.
- Prepare postage requests for the client and check requests to Accounting when needed to ensure all stamp/coin, commingle, and EPS funds are requested and available per the campaign production schedule. Follow up to ensure funds are received according to the schedule.
- Prepare job Pre-Invoice instructions for Finance with Director, Production Management approval; update final postal, package cost and sell details in SPOT.
- Attend bi-weekly production meetings to update the Operations team on the status of all pending jobs and report back to the Account team any issues that arise.
- Maintain and ensure 100% accuracy of “Client Standard”
- Stay current on postal regulations and production procedures.
