Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Manager / Architect at CDP Architecture, LLC in Nashville, TN. This staff person will be responsible for all architectural aspects of a project from proposal to final construction. The person in this position will lead a team in the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, in order to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. They will be involved in business development efforts, estimate appropriate fees, and prepare proposals and contracts. They will prepare strategic plans for project success, serve as the primary client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction. They will be utilizing a variety of tools to accomplish these goals including Revit, BIM 360, Enscape, BlueBeam, Microsoft Teams and Monograph project management softwares. This person should be a natural leader, motivated to manage a team of professionals to achieve the goals of the client and the firm. They should also possess the attributes of a mentor with a willingness to shepherd and assist in the training of less experienced staff. This candidate should be aligned with our company's core values and principles, be a self-starter with a high work ethic and positive, solution seeking attitude, and is basically just an overall good person that gets along well with others.
Qualifications
- Registered Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture minimum.
- Project experience in both single family and commercial projects (recommended). Restaurant experience a plus.
- High level design skills
- Construction detail proficiency
- Revit proficiency is a must
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Client and team presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with a team in a leadership role
