Title: Office Manager
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm ET (40 hours per week Contract to hire)
Location: 100% on-site. 8040 Georgia Ave, Suite 170, Silver Spring MD 20910
Compensation: Up to $25 per hour pay rate
Job Description:
The Office Manager will support daily office operations and ensure smooth communication across the organization. This role is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, and distributing voicemails, and managing all incoming mail. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable being the first point of contact for the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Organize, and distribute voicemails to the appropriate team members
- Receive, open, scan, and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Maintain an organized office environment
- Provide general administrative support as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail
- Experience with Google Suite and Mac computer preferred
- Comfortable working on-site Monday through Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
This office location is our HQ, but is very small. There will typically only be 1-2 other people in the office each day. Other people include IT support and some of the leadership that live locally and meet in the office from time to time.
Would like to find someone who can start as soon as possible. They will have one Zoom interview with me and that's it.
