- Direct and supervise a trade crew on a consistent basis and frequently direct over 30 employees and supervise multiple trades.
- Communicate staffing requirements to Production Manager.
- Participate in the pre-planning process in preparation for goals meetings.
- Ensure the job is properly staffed.
- Calculate unit costs based on quantity of material installed, hours worked, and labor dollars and take appropriate action to achieve goals.
- Enter daily time and production through E&K Austin lane entry.
- Create job specific QA tasks identified during job start process.
- Perform routine QA inspections and create report through Go Canvas App.
- Generate material orders by specific areas.
- Manage job cost through review and analyzation of job cost monitoring report.
- Monthly forecasting of job cost.
- Management of Subcontractors.
- Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, subcontractor, and general contractor are scheduled daily and are on site in a timely manner.
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
- Attend all job site meetings whenever scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completed 30hr OSHA Training.
- Completed Field Management Training
- Ability to effectively manage crews of 30 employees.
- Knowledge and ability to supervise the use of all tools, material, equipment, and personnel.
- Knowledge of mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fraction, and decimals.
- Advanced Knowledge of Bluebeam, OST, and Quick bid.
- Skill in verbal and written communication, including the ability to actively listen and express oneself clearly.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolds, and/or stilts.
- Ability to read detailed (blueprint) plans and specifications and comply with building codes.
- Excellent communication skills.
