Job Description: Xcite Automotive is now seeking an Automotive Wheel Repair Technician to support dealership reconditioning operations through wheel prep and cosmetic wheel repair. This role focuses on non-paint wheel repair tasks and is ideal for candidates with hands-on wheel experience who may not yet have paint or refinishing exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and assess wheel and rim damage
- Perform wheel prep, sanding, grinding, and surface correction
- Repair curb rash and minor cosmetic wheel damage
- Assist with wheel refinishing and prep for paint as needed
- Maintain quality standards and meet production goals
- Keep work area clean, safe, and organized
- Support overall dealership recon workflow
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Automotive wheel repair or wheel prep experience
- Experience with sanding, grinding, and surface preparation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice-to-Have:
- Dealership or reconditioning experience
- Exposure to wheel painting or refinishing (not required)
- Willingness to learn paint and refinishing techniques
