π¬ What You'll Do
As a Part-Time Paramedic, you will work alongside Nuclear Medicine Technologists, physicians, and clinical staff at our client cardiology facilities. You will play a vital role in supporting cardiac stress testing procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional clinical care.
Key Responsibilities
β Prepare and educate patients for cardiac stress testing procedures
β Obtain patient histories and perform focused clinical assessments
β Monitor patients during testing, including ECG monitoring and vital sign evaluation
β Establish and maintain IV access as part of stress testing protocols
β Assist with treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing procedures
β Respond appropriately to patient concerns or changes in clinical condition
β Accurately document patient information, assessments, and test data
β Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
β Maintain compliance with all applicable clinical and safety standards

π Qualifications
β High School Diploma or equivalent required
β Completion of an accredited Paramedic program
β Current Paramedic certification and/or New Jersey State Licensure, as applicable
β Strong IV placement and management skills
β Experience with cardiac monitoring, telemetry, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
β Current CPR and ACLS certifications required
β Ability to pass pre-employment background screening, drug screening, and physical examination
β Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance
