- Position Type: Full-Time | Salaried | NonâExempt
- Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Travel: Required to client facilities throughout the Western U.S.
As a Clinical Applications Specialist (CAS), you will provide expert clinical and technical support for Nuclear Cardiac PET operations. This role is essential to ensuring safe, efficient, and highâquality patient care while supporting our clients and internal teams.
đ ď¸ What Youâll Do
- Address clinical and technical issues related to equipment, protocols, and site operations
- Staff customer sites
- Support HUB operations, documentation reviews, and radiationâsafe transportation needs
- Provide customer support, education, and handsâon clinical training
- Operate and support Rbâ82 infusion systems
- Partner with Clinical Account Managers, the National Staffing Manager, and Director of Operations to support:
- Patient care excellence
- Quality assurance
- Radiation safety
- Customer satisfaction
- Assist with:
- New site startâups
- Vendor technical training
- Equipment troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Ongoing continuity of care
- Train and mentor new employees
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and company information
- Support CDLâs company objectives and clinical standards
- Associateâs or Bachelorâs degree in Nuclear Medicine
- NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) certification
- Active state license (California)
- 2â4 years of experience in Nuclear Cardiology PET
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical training skills
- Proven ability to adapt, problemâsolve, and manage change
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle conflict and emergency situations
- Experience with OEM or thirdâparty PET software/processing
- CT Certification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems
- Expertise in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac PET imaging
- Strong clinical judgment and decisionâmaking
- Clear and confident verbal communication
- Leadership and teamwork
- Organization and planning
- Commitment to quality and task completion
- Creativity and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Manual dexterity required for equipment delivery, setup, and transport
- Ability to train clinical personnel in Cardiac PET lab operations
- Prolonged standing may be required
- Frequent travel by car or air to multiple client sites
- Exposure to electrical, magnetic, and ionizing radiation
- Strict adherence to ALARA and radiation safety standards
- Physical activity including pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting
