We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Asset Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations, asset lifecycle management, vendor coordination, inventory control, and equipment deployment activities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our clinical and operational teams have the tools, equipment, and resources needed to support exceptional customer service and patient care.

🔧 What You’ll Do

📦 Procurement and Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate the procurement of assigned company assets, including laptops, peripherals, clinical hardware, software, supplies, equipment components, and other operational resources. 
• Work with approved vendors to obtain quotes, confirm product availability, track order status, resolve delivery concerns, and support timely fulfillment of business needs. 
• Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, and leadership to track purchasing requests, support budget visibility, and help forecast upcoming asset needs. 
• Assist with purchase documentation, invoice support, receiving records, and other procurement-related information needed for internal review and approval. 
• Maintain professional vendor relationships and escalate service, pricing, delivery, or quality concerns through the appropriate internal channels.

🚚 Asset Lifecycle and Deployment Support

• Receive, inspect, document, and coordinate incoming assets to ensure items are accurately recorded and ready for operational use. 
• Support the staging, preparation, shipment, deployment, recovery, redeployment, and decommissioning of company assets. 
• Maintain accurate lifecycle records, including location, assigned user or site, status, warranty information, service history, and disposition. 
• Coordinate with IT and Operations to support timely equipment availability for new sites, site transitions, replacements, employee onboarding, and operational changes. 
• Monitor asset utilization, replacement needs, open issues, and recurring equipment concerns, and provide updates or recommendations to leadership as appropriate. 

📊 Documentation, Reporting, and Process Improvement

• Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready documentation related to procurement activity, asset records, vendor communication, shipments, returns, service events, and equipment status. 
• Use Microsoft Office, Salesforce, asset tracking tools, and other company systems to maintain records, prepare reports, and support operational visibility. 
• Assist with routine reporting related to asset inventory, open procurement items, equipment deployment, vendor status, and asset lifecycle activity. 
• Identify opportunities to improve tracking, reporting, communication, and workflow consistency across the procurement and deployment process. 
• Support process improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency, accountability, cost control, and operational readiness.

🤝 Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Asset Performance, IT, Finance, Commercial, Compliance, and administrative teams to support business needs and customer readiness. 
• Communicate professionally and promptly with internal stakeholders regarding order updates, asset status, deployment timing, recovery needs, and unresolved issues. 
• Support compliance with company policies, security expectations, healthcare privacy considerations, and documentation requirements applicable to CDL operations. 
• Handle confidential company, customer, employee, vendor, financial, operational, and patient-related information with appropriate discretion. 
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of CDL’s operational goals and commitment to Best Appropriate Patient Care.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required/Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, asset management, operations coordination, vendor management, inventory control, or a related business support function. 
• Experience supporting equipment lifecycle activity, including purchasing, receiving, tracking, deployment, recovery, replacement, and documentation. 
• Healthcare, medical imaging, nuclear medicine, clinical operations, or technology deployment experience preferred. 
• Experience working with Salesforce, asset management systems, ERP platforms, ticketing systems, or similar business applications preferred. 
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related reporting tools. 
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow through, and ability to maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work professionally with vendors, internal stakeholders, and leadership.

🏢 Work Environment

• Position is based in the Houston office, with occasional travel possible based on business need. 
• May involve handling, staging, packing, shipping, receiving, or coordinating deployment of equipment, supplies, and healthcare-related assets. 
• May require interaction with clinical environments, customer sites, active imaging facilities, vendor locations, or company storage areas when business needs require. 
• When entering clinical, customer, or imaging environments, the employee is expected to follow applicable safety precautions, site requirements, privacy expectations, and company policies.
