Job Description:
Local Truck Driver – York, PA
Earn $85,000–$95,000/year with a $10,000 sign?on bonus and daily home time. This local grocery delivery role runs within a 250 mile radius of York, PA, hauling pre?loaded dry and frozen freight to dock?equipped stores.
Position Highlights:
Tues–Sat or Fri–Tues schedule, 2–6 PM start, ~50 hrs/week
Multi?stop loads (usually 2 stops), 2 short loads/day or 1 long
Palletized freight, electric pallet jacks; occasional tailgating
90% drop & hook on backhauls
Day cabs (no take home); assigned tractors, occasional shift?share
Mix of dry vans and reefers
No NYC or NJ; service area 75–100 miles from DC
Pay & Extras:
$0.64 CPM $70/day
Stop pay: $19.25/stop
Rail shuttle: $25
Detention: $20/hr after 4 hrs
Safety training: $20/hr
Holiday pay: $200/day
PTO from day one; full benefits after 30 days
6 paid holidays; no loads on Thanksgiving or Christmas
