Job Description:
Runs within 200 miles of Kansas City, MO (delivering to both drop boxes and warehouses). Hourly pay - averages 57 hours/week. OT paid after 40 hours, Typically starts
between 10:30PM and 11PM, end time varies depending on stops. Drivers should be prepared to do dock work every day as it is required. Home daily. Saturday Mornings through Monday Nights off. Primarily a Panel Van, but a 26’ straight truck may be used at times. 65 mph pedal and cruise.
90% nighttime driving. No pets and/or passengers. Mix of fork lift, pallet jack & hand load/unload. Drop boxes will mostly consist of batteries and small packages (max 100 lbs) Drivers will at times be required to use their full 14-hour clock. Overtime after 40 hours worked/week.
Job Requirements:
Must reside within 50 miles of Kansas City MO. Must have an acceptable MVR and background reports, 12 months of recent CDL driving experience. Minimum of Class B CDL (Class A ok, too). Forklift certified – if not already we will train. Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
Wage Range: 25.00 - 25.75 per hour
