Job Description:
Runs within a 150-mile radius of Charleston, SC. Picking up loaded shipping containers from 1 of 3 port terminals and delivering to customers, then return empty.
All customers are within a 150-mile radius, avg one way trip 20 miles. Monday - Friday. Company hours from 5 am - 6 pm. Drivers start 5:00 am. Occasional Saturdays may be required (typically 1 sat per month) Shipping containers, no – touch.
Drop and hook or live unload. Additional $10 per hazmat delivery. No pets or passengers on this account. Starting Pay:$25.00 per hour
Other: Additional $5/hour when working weekend (no time and a half)
HAZMAT: Additional $10 per delivered load.
Job Requirements:
Requires 6 months of either container or tanker experience in the last 3 years. Hazmat and TWIC are required. Must have an acceptable MVR and background reports. Must pass hair test. Must reside within 50 miles of Charleston, SC; Summerville, SC or Mount Pleasant, SC
Wage Range: 25.00 - 30.00 per hour
