What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A home daily position at CDL Hunter?
Job Description:
Running from the warehouse to the manufacturing plant. No touch – drop and hook. Starting pay: $25.00/hour. Take loaded trailers out and bringing empty trailers back. 6 miles round trip, about 60-miles per day. Additional $5/hour when working weekends (no time and a half).
$25.50 per hour (if the driver has Haz, they will be paid at this rate. They do not need to be pulling hazmat for this).
Job Requirements:
Must have a MINIMUM of 1 year of recent class A verifiable experience. Valid CDL-A. TWIC preferred. Hazmat preferred. No auto restrictions – driver will be road testing in a manual truck. Day cab. 53’ dry vans. Slip seat (prefer no smoking in the truck). Manual transmissions.
Must have an acceptable MVR and background reports. Must reside within 50 miles of Ridgeville, SC. General Description of Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package.
