Summary
The lead installer should be able to build ductwork of all shapes and sizes, read blueprints, understand duct sizing calculations, and air flow requirements. Ability to wire primary and secondary controls. Use proper welding, vacuum, recovery and nitrogen purging practices. Ability to lead, teach, & treat less experienced technicians respectfully, fairly, and honestly. Wage based on experience and certifications/license.
Required Experiences:
- 3 Years Install experience
- Licensed Installer desired but not required
- 3 Years Lead experience preferred
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in installing heat pumps, dual fuel systems, gas furnaces and ductless heat pumps
- Able to wire low voltage in furnaces, heat pumps and air conditioners
- Able to pressure test, vacuum down, add refrigeration charge and fire off heat pumps and air conditioners with a high level of quality and attention to detail
- Project a positive and optimistic attitude
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance
- Valid driver's license
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety briefings.
- Maintain safe working conditions at all times.
- Maintain condition, functionality and use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Professionally install all types of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial customer applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all types of HVAC equipment.
- Look for opportunities to upgrade our customers to newer and more efficient equipment.
- Always keep the safety of yourself and coworkers first.
- Must be available to work after hours when needed.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
