Service Technician for Lawn Equipment

Join our dynamic team as a Service Technician specializing in Lawn Equipment! As a key player in our service department, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance for our valued customers. Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot lawn equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge.
• Perform repairs on small engines and mechanical systems with precision and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, and part replacements to keep equipment in top condition.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to quality standards before returning it to customers.
• Must provide your own tools.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with outdoor power equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics.
• Experience repairing small engines, diesel engines, and heavy machinery is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electrical work including diagnostics, wiring repairs, and soldering techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of power tools, welding techniques, and equipment troubleshooting is essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and teamwork.
