Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot lawn equipment issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical knowledge.
- Perform repairs on small engines and mechanical systems with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, blade sharpening, and part replacements to keep equipment in top condition.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functioning and adherence to quality standards before returning it to customers.
- Must provide your own tools.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with outdoor power equipment or similar machinery.
- Strong mechanical skills with a solid understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics.
- Experience repairing small engines, diesel engines, and heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electrical work including diagnostics, wiring repairs, and soldering techniques.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of power tools, welding techniques, and equipment troubleshooting is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and teamwork.
