Role Description
This is a part-time (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Possibly becoming a full time position), on-site role for an Associate Dentist located in Long Beach, CA. The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including examinations, diagnostics, preventative treatments, restorative procedures, and patient education. Additional responsibilities include maintaining detailed patient records, collaborating with the dental team to ensure quality care, and adhering to safety and hygiene regulations. The role also involves advising patients on oral health and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in dental examinations, diagnostics, preventative care, and restorative procedures
- Proficiency in patient education regarding oral health and treatment options
- Experience with maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to deliver patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with patients
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited program
- Active state dental license and certifications in compliance with state regulations
- Knowledge of the latest advancements in dental technologies and practices is desirable
