Staff Programmer

Job Function

We are seeking a motivated Staff Programmer to join our Technology Solutions department. This role will focus on developing and supporting applications that drive efficiency and innovation for our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in programming and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Professional Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support software applications to meet business needs
• Collaborate with team members to design, code, test, and debug solutions
• Work with databases and write SQL queries for data access and reporting
• Utilize version control and follow established development practices
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and identifying process improvements

• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
• Manage time and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Show initiative in learning new technologies and improving existing skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or 1 years of professional programming experience
• Proficient in object-oriented programming (C# or VB.Net preferred)
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Hands-on experience with Visual Studio IDE

• Web development languages: HTML, JavaScript
• Knowledge of MVC frameworks and Entity Framework/Code First Migrations
• Front-end/UI design experience (including mobile web UI)
