We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipes for various utilities, including water, gas, and sewage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations and the ability to work with heavy equipment. The Pipelayer will play a crucial role in ensuring that pipelines are installed safely and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Lay pipes for water, gas, and sewage systems according to project specifications.
- Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, loaders, and forklifts to assist in the installation of pipelines.
- Perform utility locating to ensure existing lines are not damaged during installation.
- Conduct excavation work as needed to prepare sites for pipeline installation.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist in concrete forming for pipeline installations when necessary.

Proven experience as a Pipelayer or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including backhoe and loader operation.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand construction plans effectively.
- Knowledge of utility locating techniques and safety practices on construction sites.
- Experience with concrete forming is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to dig trenches and lift heavy materials.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety protocols on-site.
- Familiarity with oil and gas pipeline installations is preferred but not required.
