**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer/General Laborer to join our construction team. You will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines, ensuring proper alignment and depth according to project specifications. Experience a plus
**Responsibilities:**
- Lay out pipe routes following blueprints or verbal instructions
- Dig trenches to desired depths using hand tools or heavy equipment
- Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing
- Install and repair underground pipelines for water, sewer, or drainage systems
- Test installed pipes for leaks
- Backfill trenches and compact earth to restore surface grades
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in using pipe lasers for accurate pipe installation
- Ability to dig trenches manually or with the use of heavy equipment
- Experience operating forklifts and loaders for material handling
- Familiarity with concrete forming for pipe encasement
- Competence in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and bulldozers
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints for pipe layout
- Understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Skill in utility locating to prevent damage to existing infrastructure
