What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapeutic Transportation Aide - Therapeutic Nursery position at CCTC Opportunities?
A therapeutic aide on the transport van for the Therapeutic Nursery that serves children ages 2 ½ to 5 presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, riding the van and assuring safe and orderly rides, assisting children with seating, assistive devices, safety and behavioral concerns using a trauma-informed framework. The aide will provide the driver, and a second aide, with support as needed, both during routine activities and during emergencies to ensure a safe journey for our children.
Must be at least 21 years of age, have a High school diploma or Associates degree and at least 1-year of verified paid work experience with children. Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants strongly encouraged to apply. Covid-19 vaccination required.
