Part Time Cleaner

Job Summary
We are looking for 3 more employees to work at school on Main Street near ECC. Hours are 5pm-9pm or 6pm-10pm, Monday-Friday.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floor surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors
• Refill restroom supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Wipe down desks, tables, counters, and other surfaces
• Clean windows, door glass, and interior glass as needed
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Ensure all areas are locked and secured (as required)
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper cleaning chemicals
• Assist with special cleaning projects (deep cleaning, summer/winter break cleanups)
• Communicate any issues, damages, or supply shortages to supervisor

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or facilities maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction.
• Experience with commercial cleaning environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Good physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

This role takes place inside a school setting and requires professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
