Senior Systems Engineer with focused I&T experience for complex, Safety of Life ATC systems
Clearance: None, Clearable U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain TS/SCI when they move to another program in the future
The candidate must have a minimum of twenty (20) years of professional engineering experience in the design and implementation of complex, real-time signal processing systems.
Additionally, the candidate must have at least 10 years of specific experience performing and leading Integration and Test (I&T) initiatives.
Strong preference for experience with Satellite Navigation (SATNAV) and Satellite Communication (SATCOM) systems related to global ATC operations and Air Traffic Management (ATM).
Must have familiarity with SAE ARP 4754. Knowledge of safety critical software development
techniques (DO-278A) and SAE ARP 4761 is highly desired.
Experience with airborne navigation systems to include ICAO SARPS, FAA TSO, and RTCA MOPS processes is also desired.
Experience in client-server architectures and networking techniques and protocols.
Languages to be used include C, C , and Python.
Object-Oriented Design experience is a plus. Operating systems include Linux.
