we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. Roles/Responsibilities:
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
- Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
- Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
- Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
- Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.
Mandatory Skills:
- 8 years- Experience with designing automated tests by creating scripts that run database testing functions automatically
- 8 years- Experience in prioritizing test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios
- 8 years- Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and preparing test environments
- 8 years- Experience in performing moderately complex functional, application, and regression testing
- 8 years- Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies
- 8 years- Able to interpret requirement documents and able to update test documents accordingly
- 8 years- Strong familiarity with analysis, planning and management reporting functions
- 8 years- Acquires knowledge of the Customer's business in assigned area
- 8 years- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- 8 years- Able to work with Customer as needed during test cycle
- 8 years- Excellent analytical; problem-solving; team playing; and oral and written communication skills
- 8 years- Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities
Desirable Skills:
- 2 years- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
- 2 years- Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies
- 2 years- Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components
