Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Conduct janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain floor care by buffing, polishing, and applying protective coatings to ensure surfaces remain pristine and durable.
- Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as needed.
- Support general porter duties including moving furniture or equipment, setting up spaces for events or meetings, and restocking supplies.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors for quick resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
