What you will be doing:
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analyses.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Develop detailed project budgets and bid packages.
- Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and preconstruction teams.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Participate in bid reviews and project handoff meetings.
- Monitor market pricing trends and material costs.
What you need for this position:
- 5 years of estimating experience within commercial construction.
- Experience working for a General Contractor.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
