Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales and Leadership Trainee to join a structured, hands-on development program designed to build future branch leaders and sales professionals within the electrical distribution industry.
Program Overview:
This comprehensive 18–20 month program includes a rotation through multiple departments such as:
- Warehouse Operations
- Counter Sales
- Inside Sales
- Project Management
- Process Improvement
- Outside Sales
- Branch Administration and Operations
During the first year, you’ll gain broad exposure to distribution operations while completing online coursework covering key topics like customer service, leadership, product knowledge, electrical fundamentals, and ERP systems. Around the 12-month mark, you’ll work with your manager to align your training toward either a Branch Management or Sales career path.
Throughout the program, you’ll be paired with an experienced mentor who will guide you, help establish development goals, and support your progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required
- Demonstrated leadership ability or relevant leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and eager to learn
- Strong sense of teamwork and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Positive, professional attitude with enthusiasm for working with people
