RATES:
- $60.00 per hour
SUMMARY:
The Mobile Therapist / MT is an independent contract position and a member of an interdisciplinary clinical team:
- MT needs throughout Chester County, PA!
- MT will work after-school or evening hours
- Flexible scheduling for work/life balance!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual and family psychotherapy in the home environment
- Provide insight into family dynamics and provide assistance in the development of adaptive skills in order for the client to take a more positive role in the family
- Provide clinical progress notes & development of psychotherapy plan
- Work after-school/early evening hours, usually with 1 - 2 hours per week for each client's family, and ability to build a caseload of multiple clients
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
(Requires one of the following graduate degree requirements)
- Graduate degree with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college/university AND a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults
- Graduate degree from an accredited university with at least 9 credits specific to clinical practice in clinical psychology, social work, education, counseling, or related field AND completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
- Experience working with children diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and PA License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred
CREDENTIALS:
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- FBI Department of Human Service background clearance - Service code: 1KG738
- TB screening (current within 3 months)
- Official transcripts from graduate program
- Professional liability insurance
- Valid PA licensure (if applicable- LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
The Mobile Therapist / MT position is an independent contract (1099) position. No benefits are associated with this role.
