Overview
About this role: as Supplier Quality Engineer you will contribute to quality continuous improvement. This role has interface with various areas of the business (e.g., Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production).
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supplier quality support for selection, audit, monitoring and development
- Responsible for supplier quality related topics for development of new products and components
- Responsible to support supply chain team in supplier quality related topics of contracts
- Responsible for processing, maintaining and improving the supplier PPAPs, 8Ds
- Responsible for supplier quality problem scoping, root cause analysis and planning and implementation of actions for improvement
- Responsible for data collection, consolidation, processing and analysis of monthly KPIs and other ad-hoc Reports related to supplier quality
- Responsible for follow up and data accuracy
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Technical Field
- Certified Quality Engineer
- Proficient Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI)
- Skills: Analytic, Communication, Mediation, Root Cause analysis and Problem Solving
Other qualifications that would be beneficial in this role (if Quality Engineer):
- Degree in Engineering
- Project Management
- SAP
- ISO 9001 auditor training
- VDA auditor training
Open to Travel and relocate
Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
