What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer PRN position at CCPN Cook Children's Physician Network?
Location: Walsh Ranch Multispecialty Clinic Department: Ortho-Walsh Shift: Varying Shifts (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 12 Summary: Initiate and develop new outreach relationships with schools, colleges, teams, and community. Provides contract and other outreach athletic training services for affiliated schools, recreational and private leagues, and community athletic organizations. Assists in formulating and implementing market strategies to ensure access to services for health care providers. Participates in or provides coverage for outreach sponsored events, seminars, or other educational or athletic programs. Serves as a liaison between school coaches, athletic trainers and athletes and Cook Childrens Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. Education and Experience Required BA or BS from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) Preferred - Masters of Science from a CAATE accredited athletic training education program. Prefer experience working as an ATC with children, adolescents and young adults.
