Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Psychiatry-Clinical Therapy Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 36 Summary: The Clinical Therapist will provide psycho-social assessments, individual and family therapy, cognitive support therapy, and crisis intervention for pediatric patients and their families, primarily for the Pulmonary Dept. Triage services for further mental health interventions may be recommended and coordinated by this worker. The primary treatment group will include patients aged 0-18, their families, and/or caregivers. This position will serve as a liaison between the Department of Psychiatry and other medical specialties to allow for continuity of care. Required Education and Experience: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Experience providing family, individual, group, and play therapy. Pediatric experience required. Child growth and development education. Hospital experience (preferred). Licensure/Certifications required: LCSW or LPC with the state of Texas. CPR - Basic Life Support within 60 days of start date. CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days of start date.
