This hybrid role supports our civil engineering and land development projects by producing high-quality drawings, conducting basic survey tasks, and assisting with project coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and has strong drafting, data collection, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Performing project research and completing technical design tasks
- Prepare and update civil engineering drawings including site plans, concept plans, and existing conditions.
- Prepare opinion of probable cost, construction specifications and contract documents
- Assist with field survey tasks such as collecting topographic data, create surfaces and performing boundary research. Search public records to obtain information about property boundaries and areas to be surveyed.
- Process and organize survey data for use in CAD drawings.
- Willingness to preform Filed work and Site visits.
- Work in accordance with company standards and values with project team for a variety of projects.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits.
- Assist in providing calculations for field staking and support of field crews
- Coordinate with Engineering Dept. and RPLS for survey needs
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years' survey tech experience using AutoCAD
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Solid listening, writing and verbal communications skills
- Ability to take direction, and work independently or with a team
- Knowledge of land development, surveying techniques, principals and standards
