Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Street Sweeper Driver and Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty mechanical sweeper trucks to maintain clean, safe public and private roadways. This position requires an independent operator who prioritizes road safety, takes pride in equipment care, and is comfortable working flexible hours in various weather conditions. During non-sweeping hours, you will transition to the field to perform essential labor work (field and shop work).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Drive and maneuver commercial sweeper trucks along designated municipal, commercial, and construction routes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Licensing: Active Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience; prior experience operating sweepers or dump trucks is preferred.
- Work Schedule: Flexibility to work night shifts, early mornings, and weekends.
- Aptitude: Strong spatial awareness, basic mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently.
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
