Qualifications:
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for operating, adjusting, testing, and maintaining printing equipment. Maintains quality check log and completes production report on a daily basis. Communicates quality, material, and production issues to supervisor by performing the following duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reads job specs and procures all applicable tooling
- Sets up the printing equipment to accommodate for job orders and specs in the production run
- Conducts ongoing visual inspection of machine for leaks, loose belts, etc., according to checklist
- Troubleshoots printing equipment
- Conducts adjustments as needed to meet customer specifications
- Performs checks for compliance to customer specifications and quality standards
- Identifies and promptly reports to supervisors equipment malfunction, material, safety, and/or quality issues
- Completes record production and quality control worksheet accurately
- Performs line clearance procedures in the event of a product change
- Performs clearance procedures for shift change over
- Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel
- Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work-piece to specifications
- Diagnosis and repair of minor mechanical failures
