Folder Operator

JOB SUMMARY

Packages and inspects inserts and outserts while monitoring and inspecting the quality of the inserts/outserts.

Qualifications:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Loads sheets onto stacker on folding machine
• Packages and Inspects inserts and outserts
• Removes and inspects folded inserts/outserts from machine.  Replaces defective product and maintains proper counts
• Makes inner trays and outer boxes to pack finished products
• Places boxes on pallets
• Performs in process quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Follows GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and completes all related paperwork
• Performs line setup and clean-up activities such as line clearances per the GMP compliance standards
• Assists technician in troubleshooting mechanical problems as needed
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with housekeeping and safety requirements
• Ensure that customer orders are completed correctly at a high level of quality and according to customer expectations
• Performs other job duties as assigned

EDUCATION

High School diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional bending and reaching
• Standing and/or walking for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 35 pounds repeatedly
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. No lifting above the shoulders.
