2nd shift - 4:45 pm - 3:45 am
10% shift differential on top of base pay

Qualifications:
Job Summary:
Inspects rolls of printed products to ensure customer specifications and quality standards are met. Operates equipment to final finish products, and prepares the product for shipping by performing the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates the behaviors of punctuality, regular attendance, professionalism towards supervisors and co-workers, and self-directed task completion.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Must comply with all departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), Employee Handbook Policies, including attendance, and all safety rules and standards.
- Works normal shift hours and overtime as required.
- Coordinates efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in all departments to maximize production efficiencies as needed.
- Must have the ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32" and a metric ruler to 1 mm.
- Trains co-workers and new hires to set up, operate and use equipment.
- Sets up and operates a variety of equipment to rewind, slit and inspect products or to cut products as per customer specifications and plant standards so they are ready for packing and shipping.
- Responsible for removing and replacing defective products; discusses with supervisor.
- Splices rolls and rewinds if needed.
- Reads, understands, and follows work instructions, in conjunction with current departmental policies.
- Works efficiently and effectively to meet schedules and ship dates.
- Maintains all equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Maintains clean work area.
- Assists in packing, as needed.
- Operates hand tools and hand trucks.
- Must be able to work independently, without assistance.

- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
- Ability to read a standard ruler to 1/32” and a metric ruler to 1mm.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch and talk or hear.
Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 125 pounds.
Requires constant movement and bending.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, flashing UV lights, dust, chemicals and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
