CCL Global is representing a well-established General Contractor with a strong Texas footprint that is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to join its corporate team in Houston.
This senior-level leader will play a critical role in shaping project controls strategy across the organization: overseeing scheduling standards, risk evaluation, cost and resource analysis, and the development of project teams. With a large and diverse portfolio of active projects, this individual will have significant influence, visibility, and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of all project schedules.
- Monitor progress, perform schedule analysis, and support delay and risk evaluations.
- Oversee the creation of bid schedules, baseline schedules, CPM schedules, and recovery plans.
- Conduct earned value analysis, revenue and resource forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to schedulers and project managers across the company.
- Teach internal classes on scheduling, cost management, resource management, risk, and delay claims.
- Ensure accurate and timely Primavera P6 cost and resource loading.
- Partner with senior leadership to support project success and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 20 years of project experience with 15 years using P3/P6.
- Background in commercial or industrial construction with strong knowledge of scheduling systems, contracts, productivity analysis, and cash flow processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence field and corporate teams.
- Proven ability to proactively identify risks, implement solutions, and improve performance.
- Professional certifications (PMI, AACE, CMI, AGC) preferred.
