Field Project Controls Analyst
Location: Jackson, MS Area (Project Site)
Schedule: 100% Onsite | 10-Hour Days | 6 Days per Week
Per Diem Available
We are seeking a Field Project Controls Analyst to support the construction of a major natural gas compressor station project in the Jackson, MS area.
This is a fully onsite field assignment. The successful candidate will work directly with Project Management, Construction, and contractor teams to track project costs, productivity, forecasting, and project performance throughout construction.
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze project costs, budgets, productivity, and progress.
- Review contractor invoices, daily reports, timesheets, and field tickets.
- Support forecasting, earned value, change management, and cost reporting.
- Maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and tracking tools.
- Perform cost variance and trend analysis to identify risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Accounting, Procurement, Scheduling, and contractor teams.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project reports and management updates.
- Support project closeout and documentation activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3 years of experience in Project Controls, Cost Control, Cost Engineering, Construction Management, or a related role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience supporting industrial construction projects.
- Experience working directly with construction teams and contractors.
- Experience with Oracle, SAP, Primavera P6, Power BI, EcoSys, or similar project controls software is a plus.

This position is based entirely at an active construction site.

Travel may be required. Per diem is available for qualified candidates. A valid driver's license is required.
