We are seeking a strong, hands-on Assistant Administrator to support operations at an Adult Residential Facility serving adults with developmental and behavioral needs.
This is a working leadership role — not a desk-only position. The Assistant Administrator will support staffing, compliance, and daily operations while working directly with residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations in compliance with Title 17 & Title 22 regulations
- Assist in supervising, training, and holding Direct Support Professionals accountable
- Help manage staff schedules and ensure proper coverage at all times
- Oversee and audit documentation, including:
- Daily progress notes
- Medication Administration Records (MARs)
- Special Incident Reports (SIRs)
- Staff and client files
- Support residents with ADLs, behavior plans, and independence goals
- Monitor and manage Personal & Incidental (P&I) funds
- Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and compliant
- Assist with medical appointments and follow-up care
- Respond to incidents and ensure proper reporting procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2–3 years experience in an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) or similar setting
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or lead staff experience
- DSP I & DSP II
- CPR / First Aid
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
Preferred:
- ARF Administrator Certification
