SHEET METAL ROOFER

Essential Functions
The Sheet Metal Roofer uses tools and equipment to fabricate building components and assemble those components into a finished system at the project site, in accordance with company policies and procedures. These duties include but are not limited to:
- Bending and shearing equipment to brake.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Selecting appropriate materials and tools for each project.
- Assembling fabricated components to create final products.
- Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal materials.
- Work with materials such as light gauge steel, aluminum and copper
- Quality installation of roof-related coping, gutters, and flashings
- Quality installation of metal wall panels and standing seam metal roofing.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished product.
- Installation of sheet metal components into building.
Qualifications
A Sheet Metal Roofer must work as a team and be able to perform all the duties listed above. As well as having 1-4 yrs. of sheet metal roofing experience, be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to follow directions. As well as being able to lift 50 lbs., work at various heights and on ladders, hold a valid driver's license, have a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
