Role Overview
CCI is seeking an experienced Website Designer & Developer to support the Southeast Colorado Regional Housing Authority (SECRHA) in designing, developing, and delivering a modern, accessible, community-focused website for its upcoming affordable housing initiative. The contractor will lead the full build-out of the new project website, integrating architectural content, maps, forms, and community engagement tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop a fully functional website for SECRHA’s new housing project
- Build interactive site map features and integrate architectural plans and elevation files
- Create and embed homebuyer inquiry and application workflows (Google Forms preferred)
- Develop community feedback tools and user-friendly navigation pathways
- Ensure the website meets accessibility (ADA/WCAG) and mobile-responsive standards
- Collaborate closely with SECRHA staff and the architectural project team
- Deliver clear documentation allowing SECRHA to maintain the website internally
- Support testing, revisions, and pre-launch quality assurance
- Present the completed website to the SECRHA Board on January 20, 2026
- Provide timely status updates and meet all project deadlines
- Produce maintainable, well-documented, production-ready website files
Qualifications (Mandatory & Preferred)
Mandatory
- 4 years of professional website development experience
- Strong proficiency in modern web platforms (WordPress, Webflow, custom CMS, or similar)
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, maps, forms, and multi-document workflows
- Proven ability to deliver accessible, mobile-responsive websites
- Strong understanding of secure coding and privacy requirements
- Ability to deliver fully functional, testable components on tight deadlines
- Experience working with Git, GitLab, or similar repository systems
- Clear communication and ability to collaborate with non-technical teams
Preferred
- Experience working with housing authorities, municipalities, or nonprofits
- Familiarity with ADA/WCAG accessibility guidelines
- Background designing community-facing digital services
- Knowledge of backend integrations, queries, or data reporting
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum workflows
- Understanding of rural community engagement and user experience best practices
Project Details
Location: Remote (virtual collaboration), occasional meetings as needed
Schedule: Full-time for the project duration (40 hrs/week equivalent)
