What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Audio Producer – Mobile Collectible Card Game position at CCG Lab?
We’re a small, hands-on team building an unannounced Collectible Card Game for mobile and PC in partnership with a co-developer and a major entertainment licensor. As Senior Audio Producer, you’ll connect our design team, the co-dev’s audio department, and the licensor’s audio representatives. You won’t manage a direct team, but you’ll manage relationships, approvals, and audio outsourcing partners to ensure our soundscape: VO, SFX, and music delivers on both creative vision and licensor expectations. Your north star: seamless collaboration across partners, predictable throughput of audio deliverables, and authentic alignment with the IP universe.
- Represent the game’s audio vision in meetings with the co-developer, licensors, and external audio vendors.
- Coordinate outsourced audio production: assign work, track submissions, and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Manage the approvals process with the licensor’s audio team, ensuring submissions are timely, compliant, and high quality.
- Serve as liaison between design, production, and audio contributors, keeping priorities and schedules aligned.
- Ensure audio assets (VO, SFX, music) meet creative, technical, and IP standards.
- Anticipate risks in the audio pipeline and drive resolution in partnership with external teams.
- Champion audio’s role in supporting gameplay clarity, emotional impact, and brand fidelity.
- 5 years of professional game audio production experience, with at least one shipped title in a senior or client-facing audio role.
- Deep understanding of game audio workflows, outsourcing pipelines, and licensor approval processes.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills; able to lead alignment without direct authority.
- Strong critical ear and ability to provide meaningful feedback on audio deliverables across VO, music, and SFX.
- Highly organized and comfortable tracking multiple streams of audio work across time zones and partners.
- Prior experience working on licensed IP projects.
- Experience on collectible card games or content-heavy live-service titles.
- Hands-on background in VO direction, music composition, or sound design.
- Familiarity with middleware (FMOD, Wwise) or Unity audio pipelines.
- Multilingual collaboration skills.
