The System Administrator at CCBank plays a critical hands-on role in maintaining and improving the bank’s IT infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments. This is a mid-to-senior-level role best suited for someone experienced with system health, virtualization, patching, and compliance — while still growing into strategic and architectural thinking. You’ll manage daily server and endpoint operations, lead system recovery and migrations, and support enterprise IT projects that strengthen performance, security, and user experience. This role is ideal for someone ready to evolve from reactive support to proactive leadership, gaining visibility into audits, DR, security, and infrastructure planning.
Key Responsibilities :
System Administration & Infrastructure Support
Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux-based servers and workstations. Monitor and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
Manage vulnerability management, backups, and system updates across all environments.
Manage identity lifecycle, user provisioning, and role-based access.
Monitor system health and respond to issues.
Security & Compliance
Support endpoint protection and other enterprise-grade tools.
Collaborate with ISO on vulnerability management, compliance readiness, and risk remediation.
Maintain and enforce proper access controls, security configurations, and DR documentation.
Assist in root cause analysis of incidents and follow-through with long-term solutions.
Virtualization & Cloud Migrations
Assist in transitioning from on-prem infrastructure to cloud-based platforms
Support virtualization environments
Contribute to system optimization projects, automation, and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
Project Support & Leadership
Lead small infrastructure rollouts and assist in larger cross-functional projects.
Manage Disaster Recovery strategy planning and simulations.
Collaborate with leadership on future-state infrastructure needs.
Serve as a trusted escalation point for Helpdesk Support III and Helpdesk Lead.
Documentation & Mentorship
Document processes, SOPs, and system diagrams for use in audits, knowledge sharing, and team training.
Mentor junior technical staff and contribute to a learning-forward team culture.
Participate in cross-departmental communication and planning with vendors and internal partners.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of hands-on system administration experience in hybrid or enterprise environments
Experience with:
Windows Server, AD, Group Policy
Microsoft 365 Admin Center (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
PowerShell (or similar) for scripting and automation
Knowledge of Business Continuity principles, backup validation, and endpoint security
Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, and network-layer)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, FFIEC, CIS) and security controls
Excellent written documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with vendor management and escalation coordination
Exposure to virtualization, network segmentation, and identity federation
Experience with audits, IT governance, and cloud adoption initiatives
