Certified Nursing Assistant/ Patient Care Assistant - Private Duty

CC Young, a vibrant senior living community and a non-profit leader in senior living and Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) or a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to be responsible for providing personal assistance to patients at our facility on a part time basis.

Available shifts: 6am-10am, 7am-11am or 8am-12am.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide personal assistance and health related services to patients in home and at facility according to the Individualized Service Plan.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes respect for patients’ privacy and property.
• Appropriately report changes to certify continuity of care.
• Maintain positive, supportive, and respectful communication with the patient, their family, and agency personal.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 years of experience as CNA or PCA is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience using patients lifts such as the Hoyer, Sit to Stand and Gait belt is preferred but not required.
• Able to read, write and comprehend care plans and other tasks in English.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and medical documentation skills.
• Must be comfortable working in client's home.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
