Therapy Service Technician (TST)

Special Tree Rehabilitation System is seeking a Therapy Service Technician to support licensed therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services. This role assists with therapy treatments, prepares treatment areas, maintains equipment, and supports clients throughout their recovery process.
Schedule
- Full Time
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist therapists during individual and group treatment sessions
- Prepare clients and therapy areas for treatment activities
- Support client mobility, walking, feeding, and therapeutic exercises
- Maintain and clean therapy equipment and treatment spaces
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
- Participate in required trainings and professional development
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk up to 80% of the workday
- Ability to lift, push, or pull over 20 lbs
- Routine assistance with client transfers (100–220 lbs)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Michigan driver’s license required
- CPR certification required.
- Preferred: One year of healthcare or rehabilitation experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in working closely with clients and families
- Basic computer skills (Excel and scheduling systems)
