Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are neatly arranged and fully replenished throughout the store
- Operate equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport inventory
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock counting, inventory management systems, and regular audits
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments, unpacking deliveries, and organizing stock storage areas
- Support merchandising efforts by setting up promotional displays and maintaining visual standards
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of storage areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product inquiries, locating items, and offering friendly support
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and retail math principles
- Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and store presentation
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely during stocking or unloading activities
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse customers and team members
- Proven warehouse experience or retail experience with a focus on stocking, merchandising, or inventory control
- Effective communication skills combined with strong teamwork orientation
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of grocery store operations including produce handling, packaging, shipping & receiving processes
- Customer service skills that foster positive shopping experiences and support sales goals
