We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Cultivation Technician to join our dynamic cultivation team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining optimal growing conditions, ensuring the health and quality of our cannabis plants, and supporting the overall cultivation process. Your hands-on expertise in horticulture, cultivation, and crop production will help us produce premium-quality products while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards. Duties
- Assist with planting, transplanting, pruning, and trimming cannabis plants to promote healthy growth and maximize yield
- Monitor crop health regularly by identifying pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies using plant identification skills
- Implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies to control pests and plant pests effectively without compromising plant quality
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all cultivation activities to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Document all cultivation activities accurately using detailed logs for crop production tracking and compliance purposes
- De-leafing, harvesting and cleanliness is super important to this role.
Qualifications
- Prior experience with cultivation.
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to horticulture or cannabis cultivation environment.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, gardening tasks, and long periods of standing or walking
- Experience managing horticultural teams or working collaboratively within a team environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate records of cultivation activities
