Java Backend Engineer

Location: Cincinnati, OH – Local Candidates Only (No Relocation)

Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $70/hr on W2


Job Summary

Seeking a Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, test, and modernize backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. The role will focus on application containerization, microservices, and developing scalable, reusable software solutions.


Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with AWS and application development.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • Knowledge of Backbase APIs is preferred.
  • Experience with application modernization and containerization.
